The first of three regional North American Christian Conventions scheduled to take place this summer will be held May 24-26 on the Visioneering Studios-designed campus of Crossroads Christian Church in Corona, California. The 40-acre campus, which features fountains, a prayer garden and palm-ringed court, was developed around a "Circle of Light" theme. Crossroads' 3,500-seat auditorium opened in April, and the church has since seen an increase in attendance of more than 1,000.
Crossroads was one of the first church campuses developed using Visioneering Studios' "architectural evangelism." It is also the church home of Visioneering President Mel McGowan. The ultimate master plan for the campus includes a traditional prayer chapel (complete with stained glass and pews) and a retail center. In the meantime, Crossroads growing attendance is proof that architectural evangelism works!
